Andrew Southwick: I am a full time technician as well as the owner of Flat Black Automotive LLC. I started Flat Black Automotive in October of 2013 after I outgrew my position as lead technician at a local, highly regarded independent repair shop. I had a vision and standard of service that I knew could only be achieved by opening my own business. Over the course of the last 12 years, I have gained repair experience as well as machining, assembly, and parts experience. I am currently ASE Master Certified and have obtained my L1 “Advanced Engine Performance Specialist” Certification. With these certifications, my aim is to provide exceptional service ranging from a routine oil changes and brake inspections, to major engine and transmission repair or replacement. We strive to prevent those expensive, major repairs through routine, preventative maintenance to save you money in the long run.
