Excellent job this morning. Been having what I thought was a lifter noise (bout 500 to fix) ended up being something completely different. Ended up only costing about 60 bucks. Great people who don't try to sell ya crap ya don't need and fix the job correctly. Will always take my car here. Thanks so much

I try do do as much of my own automotive work as possible. When something is beyond what I'm capable of, my first call is to Flat Black. Expert service, fair pricing, and no runaround, from a pair of good guys.

Another shop told me my engine was toast... cracked head and oil leaking in my coolant. Took my car to flat black and they fixed me up right... turned out to be old coolant that jiffy lube never flushed a year ago. Flat black flushed it clean and good to go.. there's some shady shops out there and flat black is not one of them. I will definitely be returning to this family shop

Very helpful and very knowledgeable. My car had a draw and they figured out it was coming from the ipc. They didn't have the equipment to fix but sent me to the dealer. ( I avoid the dealer at all cost) Turns out the gear shifter was drawing from the ipc, and everything was covered by an extended warranty. It was well worth the money to know what was wrong with my car before I got to the dealer because who know what they would have charged me for. Great service, I will definitely go back.

For 2 girls who know nothing about cars, going to a mechanic is always a risk. It's easy to be ripped off when you don't know you're being ripped off. The mechanics at this shop were informative, kind, and made sure we understood everything being said to us. They even took us back and showed us the specific things that were wrong. I truly believe they were fair in their pricing and didn't take advantage of our lack of car knowledge. It's hard to find a good and honest mechanic, but I'll definitely return here! Thank you!

Flat Black offered friendly and professional service, and advised me on the most effective way to get the work I needed done and save on cost by bundling specific jobs together. They treated me like family. Thanks guys, I will be back!
