A jewel hidden away on Smith Road. I had an emergent situation where I needed to drive to Seattle whenever I got a call 24/7. My old buick's coolant system and water pump gave out on a Friday and I was in despair when my grown son told me about Flat Black Automotive. I called them around 2:00pm and they said come on in they would help me. They stayed past closing time to complete the job. My entire coolant system and gasget around intake were leaking badly. I wondered why so much water could be coming from just the water pump. Long story short, I would have been stranded on the Freeway to Seattle if they hadn't gone out of their way and helped me. Cost was very reasonable and they even through in an oil change I badly needed. These guys are amazing!! The kind of Mechanics I grew up with (I'm 66 years old))They can fix anything, very skilled, highly trained. I have found the place to take all my automotive problems. I've deal with FlatBlack three times. They have been honest, charged a fair price and they do good work. I give them a Five. What more can you ask for?

Reasonably priced. They don't rip you off like most other automotive repair shops. I like that they are now partnered with NAPA. Andrew and his dad both run the shop and are both great guys.

If you like to have your original estimate doubled and be without your Duramax (daily driver) for 2 months, go to these "Great Guys"!! Check the reviews, their friends must have all posted them 4 months ago. They're a circus act that will be out of business soon! They are still trying to figure out how to replace cracked heads on a white Duramax after replacing the head gasket and saying the heads were fine, and then ordering the wrong head So much to say, so limited space to say it, NEVER go there. There will be attorneys involved on this one.

Great service every time. My car braking down is always the most inconvenient heartbreaking thing that can happen to the finances, but going to some you trust to do the job right and put a smile on your face at the same time is invaluable.

Love these guys! I have yet to stump them. They can fix anything! That being said their prices are VERY reasonable. After taking multiple vehicles to them for an array of things, I am pleased and will continue to go back.

Gave an original estimate and it turned out, when I got my truck back, that it was a less expensive fix than originally planned. Not only that, but the fact that my truck work was done much faster than expected, was a very welcomed and appreciated surprise that will ensure that this will be the shop I trust ALL of my vehicle needs to.
