I've had Andrew work on my vehicles for the last 20 years, from rebuilding engines, to changing oil, there is no one more dedicated to keeping me happy and on the road. Always great service and advice. I have had to take a few vehicles to other local shops in a pinch and always end up regretting it.

Andrew and his team at Flat Black Automotive take really good care of my car (and me). They always strive to schedule me in as soon as they can. And make room if it is an emergency. Andrew has helped with with numerous car issues and is always willing to take a few extra moments from his day to change lightbulbs, windshield wipers, license plates when I just show up. He also helped me scrap an old vehicle and select a new used one suitable for my needs. And, as a side gig, he brews really good beer.

Today was the first time I've personally taken my car into Flat Black, but many of my friends love this place! Mike is incredibly helpful and friendly, and is amazing at explaining car mechanics to people who have little to no knowledge about the complexities of cars. They are one of the few auto mechanic shops that as a woman, I have not felt talked down to or felt they were trying to rip me off. Both my friends and I have always felt their prices are more than fair. Definitely my go-to car mechanic in Bellingham now!
